This year #Learning #Disability #Week is from the 14th to the 21 of #June and as always we are delighted to get involved and share with all of the other people and services in #Northern #Ireland. It is important to #celebrate the #contributions that people with learning disabilities make to everyone’s lives, and #communities. In #Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange we are very lucky to have a range of #wonderful work areas were everyone irrespective of level of ability is able to work together to contribute to community life. Some of these areas include our #farm, #garden, #bakery, #weavery, #wood #workshop, #candle workshop and #flower workshop. These areas are part of our work life and we wanted to try to change the balance to include more time for a wider range of #creative and #cultural #activities. These include our Community #Choir, #Health & #Beauty, Flower Arranging, #Project #groups, #Drama, #Supper #Club, #Art Club, Local Studies group, Dancer size, Lawn #games, Current Affairs, #Swimming, #Walking, #Social #Eurythmy, #Computer Club. Our hope is to build on these first steps to make further changes to ensure we are always taking time to allow our creative #impulses to stay at the heart of our Community, Camphill Community Mourne Grange.
